Style & Approach
Laura is an artist who continues to explore and develop a therapeutic and holistic approach to portrait photography. Her ongoing project, Babybrain, investigates the therapeutic benefits of community arts, open conversations and storytelling, and the art of authentic photography and self-expression in an image-consuming, social-media-led, and increasingly AI-generated society.
Laura studied Contemporary Art Practice at Leeds University and combines her understanding of the science of art combined with her wide range knowledge learnt form a range of disciplines—including yoga, mindfulness, breathwork, coaching, therapy, and psychology—to create empowering, confidence-building portrait experiences for the subject and impactful work for the viewer.
She has worked across multiple Arts Council England projects and maintains a portfolio spanning both commercial and artistic work. She is passionate about the power of brand—whether as an artist or as a conscientious business—and applies this understanding to supporting the brands she chooses to work with.

“"The pictures are unreal. You totally get the feeling of the photos ; they are beautiful in their own right. All my insecurities about my appearance fade away because I can see what you've captured. Instead of a 'perfect selfie' taken 20 times to look my ‘best’, I actually look my best because I'm with my loved ones. What you've captured is so much more than a 'perfect’ appearance.“
