3rd Wheeling | Where to meet....Birmingham

I often get asked about where is the best place to meet for our 3rd wheeling pre shoot?

This is a personal choice but here is some guidance to help you choose.

As many couples come to visit me in Birmingham for their couple shoot. Here is a guide and some options to consider in my local area.

WHAT TO KEEP IN MIND

  • I want to be a third wheel on a date you two would enjoy as a couple, to get to know more about you both and to make you feel relaxed and yourselves. So whether that’s bowling, wild swimming, walking, hanging out in your quirky Air BNB or sitting in a beer garden, it works best if we have a date somewhere you would enjoy and feel comfortable.

  • It’s nice to have a drink and a chat too, so we can get to know each other a bit, catch up with your wedding plans and plan a little about how I’ll fit seamlessly into your day. Again whether that’s a BYO on a picnic blanket, a coffee and a cake or a glass of wine, have a think what you’d prefer.

  • We take very approximately about 90 mins, half chattering and half walking about, finding nice light and still chattering but every now and again taking some photos.

Historical and the heart of where Birmingham Jewellery is still made. Lovely cafes and bars with sunny terraces too! (sun not garanteed!)

Where Cadbury chocolate began! There’s lovely park areas as well as a lovely village feel with old workers houses as well as nice coffee shops with great cake.

The Clent Hills

The Licky Hills

A bit of peace and tranquility together with a flask of tea and a chocy biscuit might just be a great way to help you relax and enjoy the experience. Dogs welcome

  • Your Venue

A great chance to explore and find some hidden gems fo ra little photo adventure on your wedding day. For example this wheat field, that although by the wedding day no longer had wheat, did allow us to take some wined fuelled photos of the bride groom and her tribe of bridesmaids!

  • Home / Hotel / Photography Studio

Lovely if you’d prefer a bit of privacy, calm, some great music and the chance to create a record of the place you lived together or the time that you had away with each other just before you got married. I love a studio shoot, to take you into an empty space just to focus of you interacting and enjoying some time focused on each other.

If you fancy a 3rd wheeling photo date, whether you are getting married or just fancy a creative date, get in touch for more information.
